*happy laughter

Today was my first day back at school!  I can foresee some problems with a few of the classes, but for now everything went great.

I started my morning off with a parfait to go.

I layered nonfat plain Chobani, a little maple syrup, some Kashi Go Lean, and 1/2 a banana.  Packed with protein.

For lunch I packed a baggie of dried fruit (about 1 C each dried pineapple and papaya) with a new mini tuna sensations packet.  For some reason, probably nerves, I wasn’t really hungry so I only at about half of each.

As promised, here are some pictures of my classroom:

These are the boards I use to post upcoming assignments –

And this is my fancy-shmancy desk ornament….that I’m a little afraid a student will ultimatly try to use as a weapon

I also did an outside (hallway) board.

My biggest problem was that I got so friking thirsty!  I’m going to carry in several bottles of water one day to store at school.  For today though, I grabbed a Starbucks on the way home.  I had a tall, unsweetened, black tea lemonade; alongside a Lenders whole wheat bagel.

I usually have a lovefest with wholewheat products but I don’t love these.  The size and nutrition info are great, but the taste is muddy.  Too bad I bought two bags of them last week!

I still have a pretty full agenda, but I’ll be back later with dinner.

    Yep, as a student 🙂

How about a Nalgene or SIGG bottle to use for water? That way you can just refill and keep it with you all day.

Rachel – I have a SIGG that I adore but I’m not sure about spendin the $ on a 2nd one. Although, honestly, I probably would if things didn’t have a tendency to “walk” at my school.
